ZTE Axon 7 and ZTE VR headset announced

ZTE announced Axon 7 and VR headset today.  ZTE Axon 7 will come with high-end specs at a very low price point. The new phone has Qualcomm’s top-end 820 processor, max 6GB of RAM, a quad HD AMOLED display, metal chassis, quick charging, and a new dual-speaker system. ZTE says the new phone will cost under $500.

New smartphone will come with Android’s Daydream VR support. Axon 7 will come with a dual-speaker setup with both speakers on the front of the phone. ZTE has upgraded the phone’s audio chip for headphones and supports high-resolution audio. The Axon 7 is upgradable to Android N when that is made available later this year.

ZTE also unveiled the ZTE VR headset. You need Axon 7 phone to attach with VR to use it. ZTE VR headset has few buttons and a control pad that can be swiped. VR includes built-in 9-axis gyroscope for enhance motion tracking. ZTE didn’t announce a release date or pricing.
