Google may drop its Nexus brand from its next smartphone. We reported earlier the company may use ‘G’ on its new devices. New rumors suggest that new HTC-built smartphones and tablet will be called Google Pixel and Google Pixel XL. On the other hand, the Huawei-made tablet will be called Google Pixel Tablet.
Google Pixel which is also known as codename ‘Sailfish’ will feature a smaller 5-inch, while Pixel XL will include the larger 5.5-inch display. Apart from the display, there will be no major difference in the hardware section. Pixel phones will feature a quad-core Qualcomm processors, 4GB of RAM, and 12-megapixel cameras.

Recently, Evan Blass posted some details about upcoming Google Pixel Tablet. Huawei-built next Google tablet will feature a 7-inch display with 4GB RAM. Pixel tablet is the long-awaited successor to the Nexus 7 tablet from 2013. This new tablet might be called Google Pixel 7p.
Google may announce new devices on October 4 event. Google will also unveil two Pixel phones, a Daydream VR headset, tablet and a 4K Chromecast.
